The Library offers self-checkout service. Patrons can either use the self-checkout kiosk or they can download the meeScan app to their phone.

 

To checkout items using the meeScan kiosk:

• Tap the start button on the meeScan kiosk.

• Scan your library card.

• Scan the barcode of each item you wish to checkout. (Align the barcode with the red laser bar.)

• Tap the Finish button.

 

To checkout items using your phone:

• Download the meeScan app to your phone.

• Open the app.

• Tap the start button.

• Tap the + button to start checking out items.

• Scan the barcode of each item you wish to checkout. (Align the barcode in the window and hold still. The app will scan the barcode automatically.)

• Tap the Finish button.

 

The self-checkout kiosk is located centrally in the Library, opposite the main entrance when you walk in. The kiosk is equipped with a receipt printer to provide a list of the items that were checked out along with their due dates. Please note that self-checkout via the meeScan phone app will not generate a printed receipt of items checked out.
